Announcer Comments:
Great show for the fans, the battle in the StocK Main between Mr Kett and Mr Moore was one of those that pitted savvy veterans against each other, one with a wounded car, Moose with the rear lowers dropping fast, and a strong and mobile Bubba fighting to chase him down. A moment when Bubba stalled and took a second too long to refire was all Moose needed for the kill shot. A devastating front bumper shot to Bubba's radiator pushed the fenders back on the front tires and after that the Lincoln was severely wounded. Moose kept pecking at that point until Bubba crawled out, unable to move.
The trucks keep getting better all the time. Some high flying shots from the stiffly sprung pickups had the crowd roaring from the start. Some of the stronger trucks started to fall by the wayside, and some of the younger guys started to show some muscle. A broken axle on Joe Bower's truck brought a read flag, but not all drivers saw it immediately and Dylan Pretti was knocked on his side at this point. Uprighting the truck and checking for safety, he continued until the end. After removing the axle and wheel, drivers continued, some drivers who were dominant early got hung up, and Mendoza, D Pretti, and Rando started to get agressive. Mendoza put away Rando, then Pretti and Mendoza got lined up for an arena shot at each others' tailgates. A glancing blow bounced both trucks in the air, and Pretti's chrome header pipe and driveline were on the ground.
Felix Mendoza got the $1600 for the win, and the #18 D Pretti was DQ for lugged tires on the rear.
